Umm… here’s a story about…uh… Alaysia and Mally… yeah… :/

One day in Allegria Island, Alaysia Jay Ozzon, a 15 year old Canine/Phoenix hybrid was wandering about the woods, wearing barely anything. What she had on was a torn black and red t-shirt with a pink decal near the middle, a ripped pair of black jeans, and a worn out pair of grey sandals. She had long, flowing hair the colour of glowing rubies, and eyes that shimmered a bright purple. She stumbled along the path, trying to keep awake. Alaysia had been lost in the forest for almost a week since the devastating plane crash.

Alaysia had been on a plane to California, when suddenly the plane was tossed around like a boat in a storm, and was hurled downwards at 500Mp/h, crashing nose-first into the island. Alaysia was hurled clear of the explosion, along with a few other lucky furres. Thankfully, she had with her her backpack, which contained a water bottle and a few personal items. Dazed and confused, she just wandered around the small cay she had been flung onto, mumbling phrases such as “Mother…”, “Waaaterrr” and “Pizza…” She was clearly in shock.

“Damn it.” Alaysia muttered. She stared into a puddle of water, looking at her reflection. She recoiled in horror when she saw how much of a mess she had turned into. “Holy crap… I look like I was tossed into a blender…” Alaysia gasped. She stretched, and yawned loudly. “I’d better find someplace to sleep…” She looked around. All she saw was a few ferns, a palm tree or two, some bushes and plants, and the occasional shell. Alaysia walked down to the beach, and plunked herself down next to a beautiful orange shell. “That’s a really nice shell!” She exclaimed as she bent over to observe it. “Hey… wait a minute…” She looked over her shoulder, getting a strange feeling. “This isn’t a shell!” Alaysia exclaimed, getting up pretty quickly. “This is a hand-carved diamond!” She exclaimed, almost falling over. “Hmm, this must mean that I’m not alone…” her voice trailed off as she walked back towards the forest.
Alaysia stuck the jewel in her tattered pocket, and made her way through the bush until she reached a clearing, and made a little shelter-like thing out of branches and fern leaves. She used some of the string in her backpack to tie the branches together, and told herself that she’d find some better branches to use tomorrow. “Hmm not bad, Alay, not bad at all…” Alaysia settled down onto her air mattress, which, yes, she had had in her backpack, along with a small pillow. She took her jacket off, and used it as a blanket. She drifted off to sleep, unaware that she was being watched.

The following morning, Alaysia awoke with a start. She had to lie back down when she hit her head on a low branch, rubbing her forehead furiously. “Ow…” Alaysia moaned. She opened the small door made of twigs, and immediately saw what had awoken her. The waves were lashing at the beach, the trees were so bent over, that they looked as if they might snap, and the sky was almost black with storm clouds. It was raining quite heavily, and at the moment there was a bright flash of yellow light, and then a horrendous thundering sound. “Holy crap… a tropical storm…” Alaysia just stood there, the waves lashing at her ankles, her hair blowing this way and that, until she realised she had to seek better shelter than her hut. She packed up her things quickly, and strapped the backpack to her back. She didn’t want to loose her only supply of fresh water and pillow. It took longer than she expected to flatten out the air mattress, so she ended up just shoving it into her backpack, halfway deflated.

Alaysia was running as fast as she could, pushing aside leaves and twigs that stood in her way. She jumped over roots, and ducked under stray branches, finally coming to this odd little clearing in the middle of the forest.

“Holy… what is this place?” Alaysia gaped, as she looked around the little area. It was then that she noticed this big hut, made out of branches, leaves, and vegetation. It even had a wooden door, which she observed closer were pieces of a raft tied together with the string from a life jacket. There was this faint, flickering glow inside, and a shadow. Alaysia jumped as she shadow moved towards the door. “Oh my gosh! It’s going to eat me!” Alaysia screamed in panic, as she ran to the other side of the clearing, thunder roaring above her head. The door creaked open, the shadow slowly stepping forwards, a candle in its hands. “Wh..wh..who’s there?” The voice started out shakily, then gradually became more solid. “Who is it?” She demanded. Well, at least, she assumed it was a she. “I…I…I…” she started slowly, then became faster, until she had run out of her little hut, and tackle-hugged Alaysia. “Ala!!! Bebs!” As words came out, Alaysia got even more confused, trapped in the hug. IT took her a full minute before she realised who it was. A flash illuminated the sky, as the thunder growled seconds later. “Mally! Mally Venus! Bebs! Heh. What are the odds?” Alaysia grinned as she hugged Mally back. “Let’s go back inside, it’s dangerous out here.” Mally ushered Alaysia towards the hut, closing it after her.

“Wow, nice little hut you got here.” Alaysia looked stunned. “How did you manage this?” Alaysia asked, picking up a pillow on the floor. “Well, it was really quite simple.” Mally took the pillow from Alaysia, and stuck it onto a nearby air mattress, just like the one Alaysia had. She sat down on the air mattress, and pointed towards the luggage bag in the corner. “I had just come back from a wilderness training course in San Diego, when our plane just, started having turbulence for no real reason, and I jumped before the plane started it’s nose-dive.” Mally paused, and pointed towards the backpack with a parachute coming out of it. “As soon as I had landed, I went to gather branches and leaves, and wove them together to make this hut. I used the string from that lifejacket, and also some string I was using as a belt.” Mally sighed, and looked towards Alaysia. “I could only carry one thing when I parachuted, and I had brought my luggage on with me. Surprisingly, the airport staff let me; don’t ask me why, though… Anyways, so, I grabbed onto the handle, made sure everything was zipped up, and ran and jumped out the emergency door. I opened my parachute, and I landed on the beach. I made my way through the forest, and, well, yeah. I have a few blankets, a pillow, and an air mattress from the course; along with a frying pan they gave us. I also have a first-aid kit and some extra clothes. I had a cell-phone, but it got waterlogged. I also have my laptop, thankfully it didn’t get waterlogged, but it was severely damaged. And, of course, my tacky tourist camera.” She paused again, and pointed to where she had hung it from a loose twig. “Here, you’re my size, and you could use some new clothes.” Mally handed her a pink dress with blue daisies all over it, and a pair of runners. “I also have a jacket if you need one.” She held out the grey coat, but Alaysia just shook her head, and turned away from Mally so she could change.

Alaysia told her her story about how she survived (barely), and Mally hugged her. “Now, we need to devise a plan for us to get rescued.” Mally flipped her strawberry blonde hair back, and adjusted her cream coloured long sleeved shirt. “I have some paper and a pen in my backpack.” Alaysia stated, as she took out them items mentioned. “Great! Now then, if the wind is going in this direction, and we have a fire set up over here, while one of us gathers some rocks…” Mally launched into an explanation, and I agreed to it. “Sounds great! But neither of us have matches…” Alaysia sighed. “Oh, bebs.” Mally giggled, and slid Alaysia’s black glasses off her nose. “We can use these!” Mally smiled, and then gave them back to Alaysia. Alaysia slipped them back on hurriedly. “Well, I’ll go gather the rocks if you go start the bonfire.” Mally informed Alaysia, while Alaysia gave a grunt of approval, and head down to the beach.

Once at the beach she saw something that frightened her terribly. A fox. Don’t ask me why there was a fox on that island, but there just was. “Oh crud…” Alaysia dropped all the driftwood she was carrying, and stepped back a few feet before the fox turned around and noticed her. Her being half canine, half phoenix was sorta a good thing, but not good enough. She couldn’t get enough strength to come to transform into a wolf! She tried and tried, each time with the same results. She burst into tears, and the fox came over to her, sniffed her gently, and lied down beside her, head in her lap. “Wha…wha…wha?” Alaysia was quite stunned by this, as she thought for sure that the fox was going to attack her. She stroked the fox’s smooth fur, as it licked her hand. After a few minutes, Alaysia realised she had effortlessly turned herself into her feral form. “Now I recall… I have to be closer to an animal to turn feral.” She licked the fox playfully. “Hi, what’s your name?” She whined. “Huh? I’m patch.” The fox grinned. “I’ve never encountered a hybrid like you before. Only 100% humans.” Patch grinned again, and looked into Alaysia’s shining purple wolven eyes. “Wow.” Was the only word that came out of Alaysia’s mouth. “I’m hungry.” Alaysia whimpered as her stomach let out a low growl. “Well, I know of an area when there is a rabbit’s den, I’ll fetch us a couple rabbits.” Patch exclaimed ,and trotted off. “I’ll wait here!” Alaysia called after patch. She sat down, wagging her wolf tail. Her fur was a bright blue, with dark blue patches all over back and a white patch down by her belly. She had one straight ear, and one floppy, and she still had hair in her wolven form, long and straight, falling from her head to the ground. The Fox returned within minutes, and we dug into the rabbits, as if we hadn’t eaten for 10 months. “Delicious!” I grinned, and pushed the scraps away. “Yersh.” Patch agreed.

“I’d best get started on the bon fire now, I’ll see you around, patch.” Alaysia smiled, and trotted towards the driftwood she had dropped, transforming from Wolf to furre in the blink of an eye. Patch had run off, so Alaysia just continued to build up the pile of driftwood on the beach, and also added some branches and vegetation, until finally she had a pile three times bigger than she was. She went back to the hut, and found Mally waiting for her. “I’ve gathered enough rocks.” Mally smiled, and I led her to the area where my pile was. As Mally laid out the rocks to spell out S-O-S, I tried to catch the sun in the glasses lenses, and it worked at the right angle, and the fire started out tiny, then spread to the entire pile within minutes.

“How long do you think it’ll burn for?” Alaysia asked Mally. “I don’t know, Ala.” Mally replied. “I turned feral.” Alaysia mumbled to Mally. “You did WHAT? Mally turned to Alaysia, a look of awe on her face. “Yes, I turned into my wolven form. You have one too, you know. I all happened when this fox came and cuddled with me.” Alaysia remembered the experience, and sorta half smiled, half drooled. “Uh……..” Mally just sat there and started at me like I was crazy. “I’ll show you!” Alaysia stood up and called out patch’s name. “Patch! Here patch! C’mere Patch!” Alaysia screamed into the blue. Then, out of nowhere, the fox came racing towards her, and licked her hand. Alaysia transformed into the feral form, as Mally sat there with her jaw dropped. “Patch, do we a favour, and go and lick Mally’s hand.” Alaysia whispered in Patch’s ear. The Fox nodded, and went over to Mally, slowly, he nudged her hand, and started licking it, then he stuck his head in her lap. Before Mally even realised what had happened, she had also turned feral. Only she turned into a fox as well. She gasped when she looked down, her hair falling all over her, as she lifted her hand, and was shocked to see a paw. “What the heck?” She gaped as she ran around in a circle. “Yeah, somehow we’re able to turn feral…” Alaysia mentioned. “This is just creepy. How do we turn back?” Mally whimpered. “You have to concentrated on your human form, visualise yourself in your head.” Alaysia informed Mally, as she proceeded to turn back human, and Patch ran off again. Mally had a bit more trouble, but turned back to her human form as well.

Later that day, Alaysia had gone to find some more driftwood for the bonfire, when Mally came yelling screaming towards her. “What is it?” Alaysia demanded, curious. “Listen!! It’s an airplane, bebs! We’re gonna be saved!” Mally exclaimed with glee. “So it is!” I shrieked. So, Alaysia ran down to the beach alongside Mally with the driftwood she had found, and tossed it hurriedly onto the pile. They waved their arms like maniacs, and screamed their lungs out. It worked. The plane saw their smoke, and the huge SOS made of rocks, and circled downwards towards them.

The plane had landed. They were saved! “Thank you so freaking much, sir!” Alaysia screamed over the noise of the wings. “We’re just gonna go pack up our stuff, sir.” Mally yelled at the pilot, and then she ran towards the hut. “Yeah, we’ll be right back, Sir.” Alaysia agreed, and ran after her.

They got to the hut, and literally threw their things inside their respective bags, and then bolted out the door, and back to the plane. “Thanks for waiting, sir.” Mally smiled at the pilot. “Yeah.” Alaysia added. The man smiled and nodded. “Do you need anything, girls?” He asked curiously, but cautiously. “Uhm, no, sir, we’re fine.” Alaysia put on a fake smile until her jaw got sore, and the man turned to the front. “Ow…” Alaysia moaned, and rubbed her cheek. “Okay, girls, I’m headed towards the Okanagan. Where do you two need to go?” The man questioned. “Uh… Allegria Island, Sir.” Alaysia informed the pilot. “Yeah, we’re from Furcadia.” Mally added. The man looked questionable, but then he just said “Okie dokie”, and turned the plane around.

Within about 3 hours, they were back home, in AI. “Well, shall we go to Pet Bah and tell Sel, Night, Jul, Lar, Tahsi, and the others about our adventure, bebs?” Alaysia asked Mally. Mally laughed, and agreed. Thus ends their story.
